Show Car Information

One of the more popular spectator areas of the Springfield Ohioswapmeet.com event is the Show Car field. Classic vehicles from all era's are welcome and judging is held on both Saturday and Sunday. Participants qualify for judging, door prize registration, magnetic dash plaque.

Show Car Schedule for May & September
Gates open to Show Car vehicles Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 AM Show registration for judging closes once judging has begun. (Usually around 1:00) Show cars arriving after judging has begun will still be able to park along with others within the show car field but may not be judged. Show vehicles that arrive on Friday can still park in the show car area but no judging, door prizes or registration will be available.

Show Car Registration
$10.00 covers show entry fees and entry for the vehicle's driver. Additional passengers only need to
pay the $8.00 general admission event fee.
(Children under 12 are free)

No For Sale Signs

Showing Your Vehicle
All vehicles parked in the show area are required to have a registration form filled out and placed on their dash or windshield for identification. Judging is based on best of show in several categories but not class-specific.


Entrance Gate Information
Show vehicles will enter the fairgrounds at the "Vendor Registration and Show Cars" entrance, (the first fairgrounds entrance off I-70 on Rt. 41). Look for the large, red gate identification banner at each entrance to make sure you are going to the correct gate.


Parking for Tow Vehicles
Limited parking for trailered vehicles will be provided as space allows. Attendees who plan on trailering their vehicle should arrive before 10:00 if possible to ensure access to the fairgrounds and the limited parking in the show area. If available parking is full the show vehicles will be able to unload and then park their tow vehicles in the general admission area of the grounds with staff supervision.


Pets
Clark County Fairgrounds policy is that pets are not allowed on the grounds at any time, unless the vendor or camper has obtained a special free permit at Vendor Registration. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, and either confined inside a vehicle, or otherwise out of the reach of spectators. Pet owners who receive their permit must have liability insurance on the pets, must assume all liability for the pet and its actions. Famous Auto Promotions, Inc., it's employees, and the Clark County Fairgrounds are not to be held responsible in any suit or legal action arising from your pet's actions.


Other Restrictions
Motorized vehicles (mopeds, motorbikes, etc. or antique bicycles) are not permitted unless you can show you are handicapped. We must see your handicap permit and you must complete a free special permit (located at vendor tent). You must be 16 or older and must have liability insurance on handicap vehicle.

No tents, canopies, or dining flies permitted in the Show Car fields.

We must be off the grounds by 8:00 PM Sunday. This includes all Show Car, trailers, tow vehicles, and campers.

No items or vehicles are to be offered for sale the Show Car field!

You must carry insurance on your own property. Famous Auto Promotions, Inc. is not responsible for loss due to theft, accident, vandalism, or injury.

The show will be open rain or shine - No Refunds due to weather conditions!
